Wentzville School District
Holt High School and Timberland High School both had very successful football seasons this year as the two squads combined for a 17-5 record, so it’s no surprise that there are plenty of post-season accolades for their individual players.
Timberland senior running back, Montee Ball, was chosen for the Rams/NFL/College Hall of Fame 2008 All-Metro Team, and was also named the Class 5A Player of the Year by the Missouri Football Coaches Association.
The MFBCA also selected Wolves teammates Kurt Kutter (OL) and James Wofford (DB) for Class 5A first team honors.
The Missouri Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association has announced its Class 5-6 East Central District teams, the first team selections from Holt were Jeremy Boschert (OL), Jack Peglow (DB), Ryan Price (LB), Ricky Bailey (DL), and Levi Stump (DL).
The first team selections from Timberland were Montee Ball (RB), Kurt Kutter (OL), Nick Demien (OL), James Wofford (DB), and Justin Ellertson (LB).
Holt players chosen for the second team were Nick Grubbs (RB), (P), and Andrew Lazalier (LB), while Timberland was represented on the second team by Iam Hanson (OL), Wayne McRoberts (OL), James Wofford (KR), Michael Crutcher (DB), Ryan Gau (DB), and Peter Merz (DL).
