Wentzville School District
Beginning June 1, several road construction projects will be underway throughout the Wentzville School District during the summer of 2009.
Access to Holt High School, Wentzville Middle School, Central Office, Boone Trail Elementary, South Middle School, Timberland High School, and Crossroads Elementary will be affected by the construction.
Campus Drive will be rebuilt between Pearce Boulevard and Holt High School. The project will be completed in two phases. Starting June 1, Campus Drive will be closed to through traffic. Phase I of the project will be from Holt High School to Wentzville Middle School. Central Office and Wentzville Middle School will be accessible from Pearce, while Holt can be accessed from Northview Avenue. Students attending summer school at Holt High School will need to park in the south lot. Holt staff may park on the west side of the building.
Phase II of the Campus Drive replacement, scheduled to begin around July 1, will be from Wentzville Middle School to Pearce Boulevard. Access to Holt High School, Wentzville Middle School, and the Central Office will be from Northview Avenue. Parking for Central Office will be on the north side of the building through the Wentzville Middle School parking lot.
The entire project is targeted for an August 7 completion date.
South Campus Drive from Highway N to the first stop sign will be replaced beginning June 1. In addition, the South Middle School front parking lot will be expanded and the bus loop behind Boone Trail Elementary will be replaced around to Highway N.
Access to Boone Trail, South Middle School and Timberland High School will be from Perry Cate Boulevard. All summer school traffic to South Middle School will use Perry Cate, turning west in front of the school and circling through the bus loop west of the main parking lot. Boone Trail will be accessible at most times via the front drive of South Middle School. Timberland High School will be accessible from Perry Cate on the east side of the building.
In early June, the construction of a new Auto Loop will commence at Crossroads Elementary. Access from Highway N will be cut off to facilitate the construction project. Access to the building parking lot will be from the south via Timber Meadows Parkway.
