WNEA recommends Hurst and Bushway

Wentzville School District
The Wentzville National Education Association has announced their recommendation of David Hurst and Robert Bushway for the Wentzville School Board.
According to WNEA President, Scott Kiehl, the organization supports these two gentlemen because it is believed they are “two more steps towards excellence.”
The WNEA sent questionnaires to the five school board candidates and also held face-to-face interviews with them. After discussion, a committee of teachers voted to recommend to the Representative Assembly that the WNEA support David Hurst and Robert Bushway for the school board. On March 5, the Representative Assembly voted to accept the committee’s recommendation.
Kiehl stated that teachers realize the needs of their district better than anyone; and the teachers believe Bushway and Hurst will provide the necessary leadership for the district, especially during these uncertain economic times.
The school board election will be held on April 7, 2009.
