Job opening; Timberland’s Dr. Waters retiring

The Wentzville School District is accepting applications for the Timberland High School principal position. According to Wentzville Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Terry Adams, Timberland’s current principal, Dr. David Waters, will soon retire.
The position requires: a Master’s degree or beyond with Secondary Principal Certificate or eligibility to obtain in the State of Missouri; Missouri Teaching Certification Grades 9 through 12; and successful school administration and supervision experience. The starting date for this job is July 1, 2009.
Timberland High School includes grades 9 through 12 and currently has about 1,600 students. Beginning in the spring of 2009, construction for a 16-classroom addition will begin.
