Timberland football team members sign Letters of Intent

They played together for four years, so it was only fitting that they signed together. This outstanding group of Timberland seniors won the GAC North Championship, and had a record of 20-3 over the past two years.
Five members of the Wolves signed their NCAA National Letter of Intent on Wednesday, February 4 at Timberland High School, with plenty of proud family members in attendance.
Running back Montee Ball set the St. Louis metro area rushing record with 7,109 yards and scored 88 touchdowns, and he will attend the University of Wisconsin.
“It was the best decision of my life,” said Ball, “The environment, the coaches, it was just a great fit.”
Ball was chosen for the Rams/NFL/College Hall of Fame 2008 All-Metro Team, and was also named the Class 5A Player of the Year by the Missouri Football Coaches Association.
The MFBCA also selected Wolves teammates Kurt Kutter (OL) and James Wofford (DB) for Class 5A first team honors, Kutter will attend Missouri State University and Wofford signed to play for Lindenwood.
Two of the teammates will continue their careers together, both Peter Merz (DL) and Justin Ellertson (LB) will attend Missouri Valley College.
