Ryan Gau, a three year starter at point guard for the Timberland Wolves, has committed to play college basketball for the Missouri Valley Vikings. With his father Mike and his mother Kathy by his side, Ryan signed his NAIA National Letter of Intent at Timberland high School.
“They have a beautiful athletic facility and I’m really impressed with their academics,” said Ryan. “They have two JV teams as well, so I know I’ll get to play right away on some level.”
He was named to the All-Conference Academic Team the past two years, and the speedy guard is the Timberland career steals leader with 111. Ryan was also the starting cornerback on the Wolves football team last year and was named to the All-Conference 2nd Team.
