Serious accident closes I-70 in Wentzville

A roll-over accident on eastbound I-70 near Wentzville Parkway has shut down the interstate.
The accident happened about 3 pm just west of Wentzville Parkway. Scanner reports indicated the vehicle was on it's side between the interstate and the South Service Road.
At least one patient was taken by helicopter to Mercy Hospital St. Louis while one person with less severe injuries was transported to St. JosephHospital West in Lake Saint Louis.
