The Wentzville School District will offer a final H1N1 vaccination clinic on Saturday, Dec. 19 at Holt High School.

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines recommend that children less than 9 years of age get a second vaccination separated by at least 28 days.

Children who are between 3 and 9 years of age who have received an initial vaccination during one of the previous clinics can receive either the FluMist or the injectable vaccine from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on a first come, first serve basis.

Community residents between the ages of 3 and 21 who live within the District boundaries can receive the vaccine on a first come, first serve basis from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The State of Missouri has an H1N1 hotline to answer questions regarding flu symptoms, when to receive medical care, and questions about the vaccination. The number, 1-877-FLU-4141 (1-877-358-4141) is answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
