Holt High School DECA Sponsors “Spring Fling”

Wentzville Holt DECA is sponsoring the 12th annual “Spring Fling” fundraiser on Friday April 22nd 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Soby Field at Holt High School. Proceeds from this fundraiser go to the local scholarship fund and Holt DECA National Qualifiers to help with expenses during the competition.
DECA is an international association of high school and college students studying marketing, management, and entrepreneurship in business, finance, hospitality, and marketing sales and service. The “Spring Fling” will feature a Disney theme this year with games, prizes, egg hunt, and themed raffle baskets.
Tickets for the games can be purchased at the front gate, the cost is $1 for five tickets. Raffle tickets will also be available for $1, or six tickets for $5. The Wentzville Fire Department, Mcgruff the crime dog, and your favorite fairytale characters will all be making guest appearances throughout the event.
“Spring Fling” will feature three separate egg hunts; Preschool and Kindergarten egg hunt will be at 11:00 a.m., followed by first and second grades at noon, and third, fourth, and fifth grades at 1:00 p.m. In case of inclement weather, “Spring Fling” will be held in the Holt Gymnasium. The school address is 600 Campus Drive in Wentzville.
