Accident on Route N sends three to hospital

On May 20 at about 7:20 p.m., Brandon P. Dickherber, 22, of Lake Sherwood, was heading westbound on Route N just west of south Pointe Prairie Road in a 1997 Dodge 1500.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Dickherber swerved to avoid a vehicle which was turning in front of him. As Dickherber lost control of the vehicle, the right rear tire exited the north side of the road. The vehicle returned to the road, overturned and exited the south side of the roadway.
Dickherber sustained moderate injuries and was taken to St. Joseph West Hospital by St. Charles County Ambulance.
Two occupants in the vehicle: Joseph F. Kueper, 21, of St. Paul and Jacob C. Wycoff, 21, of Union, both suffered serious injuries and were also taken to St. Joseph Hospital West by St. Charles County Ambulance.
None of the three were wearing seat belts during the accident.
