Woman robbed at Bed Bath and Beyond parking lot

The St. Peters Police Department is searching for a suspect who robbed a victim on the parking lot of Bed Bath and Beyond located at 281 Mid Rivers Mall Drive on Tuesday May 24th at 1:30 PM. The suspect was described as:
a white male, late teens to early twenties
5’11” – 6’01”, thin build
Strong odor of cigarette smoke
Armed with a large knife
The victim was inside her vehicle on the parking lot of Bed Bath and Beyond when the suspect jumped inside of her car, displayed a large knife and demanded money. The victim gave him an undisclosed amount of cash and after several minutes, he exited the vehicle in an unknown direction.
A similar incident occurred in St. Charles City involving a suspect matching this description. Anyone with information about the identity of this suspect is asked to contact Detective Paul Barish at 636-278-2244 ext. 3531.
