UMB Bank in Cottleville robbed

Scanner reports indicate the UMB Bank at 6059 Mid Rivers Mall Drive was robbed at approximately 10:56 a.m. today.
The subject, who was reported as a white male wearing a black jacket, white t-shirt and jeans, passed the teller a note which stated there was someone in the bank with him who had a weapon. Over $1,500 was stolen.
Officers were following the tracking device until it was found ditched in the intersection of Motherhead Road and Highway N. An unsecured door at the nearby fire station prompted a search of the firehouse.
