Sunday accident sends woman to hospital

On Sunday, April 25 at about 1:50 p.m., Ralph L. Macy, 55, of St. Peters, was stopped at a red light eastbound on Highway 94 at O’Fallon Road in a 2003 GMC Denali.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, after the light turned green, the front of a 1996 Ford Taurus, driven by Mary S. Fichet, 79, of Weldon Spring, struck the rear of the Denali.
Fichet suffered minor injuries and was taken to Progress West by St. Charles County Ambulance.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts during the accident.
