The St. Peters Rec-Plex is the place for fun and fitness for all ages this summer—from children to adults and seniors. Registration is open now for a new session of classes that cater to a wide range of interests.

Programs open to registration include ice skating, hockey, swimming, youth T-ball and baseball, adult softball leagues, aqua aerobics, personal training and a full slate of group fitness classes.

Plenty of Family Fitness Classes are available for kids as young as 18 months. Parents can participate with their kids in many of these classes. Meanwhile, some 50+ Fitness classes are tailored specifically for seniors. Seniors also may enjoy T’ai Chi or any number of Rec-Plex aqua aerobics classes for low-impact, high-energy workouts.

New this summer, the Baby Boomer Bootcamp Challenge will be open to all fitness levels, and the Real Fitness Bootcamp can help you gain strength, endurance and confidence.

For a complete workout, try the Russian-style Kettlebell workout or ride your way to fitness in Rec-Plex Xtreme (RPX) Cycling classes. If you’re looking for a different type of workout, register for some fun Belly Dancing or Fencing classes.

Sign up for Rec-Plex classes by phone at 636.939.2386, ext. 1400, or in person at the St. Peters Rec-Plex, 5200 Mexico Road, any time Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The registration desk is closed on Sundays and city holidays. Online registration is available for most programs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by using the Rec-Connect service at www.stpetersmo.net.

For more information about St. Peters recreation or arts programs, the Leisure Line program guide is available at the Rec-Plex and St. Peters City Hall, and online at www.stpetersmo.net.
