St. Peters Police arrest two suspects in home burglary

On Monday, September 19, 2011, the St. Peters Police Department investigated a residential burglary in the 1600 block of Enwood Drive wherein over $9,000 in property was reported to have been stolen. The burglary was reported to have taken place between the hours of 9 am to 7 pm.
Based on information received from the public, information was developed implicating two subjects. Officers located one of the suspects at his residence in the 4000 block of Weatherton Place in St. Charles, that suspect was taken into custody following a foot pursuit. The suspect is identified as:
BORNHOP, TODD T.
W/M DOB 2/14/86
4000 Block Weatherton Place
St. Charles, MO 63304
Officers located the second subject at a residence on Greenwood Ct. in St. Peters. That suspect was taken into custody without incident. The suspect is identified as:
KINZER, RICHARD C.
W/M DOB: 2/20/91
800 Block Carriage Cove Ct.
St. Charles, MO 63304
Investigators recovered the majority of the property stolen from the residence. The St. Charles County Prosecutor’s Office issued formal charges for burglary with Bornhop’s bond set at $20,000 and Kinzer’s at $15,000. Both suspects are currently incarcerated at the St. Charles County Adult Detention Center.
