Occupant Protection Enforcement Day Results

The St. Peters Police Department participated in the Occupant Protection Enforcement Day on April 15, 2010.
During the enforcement effort, officers issued a total of 82 traffic citations including:
*4 Following Too Close citations;
*7 Stop Sign violations;
*2 Signal violations;
*1 Careless and Imprudent Driving;
*24 Speeding citations
*14 Seatbelt violations;
*7 Uninsured Motorists;
*3 arrests for Driving While Suspended/Revoked; and
*16 verbal warnings were issued for other violations.
All St. Peters Police Officers working on the 15th participated in this statewide effort.
