O’Fallon man injured in motorcycle accident

Thursday night at about 8:00 p.m., Antwayn R. Mayfield, 30, of O’Fallon was driving a 2008 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle eastbound on Route 370 near Interstate 70.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Mayfield was traveling at a high rate of speed when he tried to negotiate a curve and lost control of the motorcycle. Mayfield was ejected.
Mayfield suffered serious injuries and was taken to St. Joseph Hospital East by St. Charles County Ambulance.
