New traffic signals for Birdie Hills and Ohmes

The City of St. Peters has installed new traffic signals at the intersection of Birdie Hills Road and Ohmes Road.
Drivers can expect the signals to flash red at all legs of the intersection beginning Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010. The traffic signals will be fully operational beginning Monday, Dec. 27, 2010, after morning rush hour traffic.
New wheel chair-accessible ramps also have been constructed at the Ohmes-Birdie Hills intersection. Crosswalks will be painted at the intersection in the spring.
