Motorcyclist suffers serious injuries after crash

On Saturday, March 14 at 11:38 a.m., Bryan A. Mueller, 24, of St. Peters, was traveling northbound on U.S. Highway 79 at Route Y on a 2005 Triumph Daytona 650.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Mueller slowed abruptly and was struck in the rear by a 2000 Chevrolet 1500 driven by Joshua W. Oglesby, 24, of Troy.
Mueller was ejected from the vehicle and slid into southbound traffic. The rear tire of a southbound 2002 Chrysler Town and Country, driven by Nichiolas S. Wood, 16, of St. Louis, struck Mueller’s helmet and spun him.
Mueller suffered serious injuries and was taken to St. John’s in Creve Coeur by Arch Helicopter.
