Monday accident sends two women to hospital

On Monday, Dec. 27, a 1998 Plymouth Neon, driven by Leola Lawrence, 64, of Richmond Heights, was heading eastbound on Highway 370, just east of Interstate 70.
Following behind the Neon, was a 2001 Ford Expedition, driven by Quincy Jones, 30, of St. Louis.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol:
The Ford Expedition struck the rear of the Plymouth Neon. The Neon travelled to the right and came to rest facing west.
Lawrence suffered minor injuries and was taken to St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles by St. Charles County Ambulance.
An occupant in the Neon, Veria A. Goodlaw, 72, of Richmond Heights, also suffered minor injuries and was taken to St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles by St. Charles County Ambulance.
