Man steals purse from elderly woman

The St. Peters Police Department is looking for a male subject who stole a 76-year-old woman’s purse as she was dining at Wendy’s Restaurant on the 200 block of Mid Rivers Mall Drive on July 6th.
The subject is described as a white male; 18 to 25 years old; 5’8” to 5’10”; dark, curly “shaggy” hair; and was last seen on a BMX bicycle.
The unknown subject grabbed the victim’s purse when she was sitting down at Wendy’s and then he fled the restaurant. He was last seen getting onto a BMX style bicycle.
The purse was later recovered behind a grade school at the 400 block of McMenamy, with several items still missing.
