Flooding affects RV parking decision
July 14, 2008
St. Peters
Citing the effects of flooding at many RV storage areas and boat docks, the city of St. Peters Board of Aldermen voted to temporarily suspend a section of the City Code to allow RVs and recreational vehicles to be parked in residential driveways.
The restrictions of City Code Section 365.070 are waived until August 14, which is when the storage facilities are believed to be accessible again. The board action suspends the section of the code which states that recreational vehicles, equipment or trailers temporarily parked on any residential lot for a period not to exceed a total of ten (10) days per calendar year for purposes of seasonal preparation.
The temporary action does not allow parking recreational vehicles on the street.
