Driver flees after car crashes into St. Peters home

A driver in a Corvette crashed the vehicle into a home on Meadow Ridge Drive in the Country Creek Subdivision, near Jungermann Road in St. Peters at about 10:20 p.m. Sat.
The driver of the vehicle left the scene and, according to neighbors, no one knows the subject’s identity or whereabouts.
The brick home suffered some damage. A tree in the yard also appeared to have been hit. Witnesses stated no one was seriously injured.
Neighbors said that fast driving on Meadow Ridge Drive is common and it’s their habit to monitor traffic carefully when their children play outside and when they wait for the school bus.
