Fight hunger this season and beyond; donate to Incredible Edible Tree
December 7, 2010
St. Peters, MO
Area food banks need help even after the holiday season. That’s why the St. Peters’ Community & Arts Center is combining art and charity again this year with the Incredible Edible Tree. The annual food drive continues now through January 15.
It can be tough for some area residents who lack food and personal care items to buy the essentials, so why not help to put a smile on the faces of people in need. Now is a great time to show your generosity and help to restock the shelves of area food pantries by donating items to the Incredible Edible Tree.
Acceptable items for the food drive include: canned goods, canned meats, dry goods, baking goods, powdered baby formula, diapers, pet food, personal care items and cleaning supplies.
Drop off your donations now through January 15. Donations made by December 18 can be dropped off at either St. Peters’ City Hall or the St. Peters Community & Arts Center. Any donations made to the Incredible Edible Tree after December 20 should be brought to St. Peters City Hall, where the Community & Arts Center will be relocated as the Cultural Arts Centre.
With your donations, our artists will build a sculpture that will be on display from January 17-19 at St. Peters City Hall.
