A family tree is a gift to future generations, but building one can be hard work and is sometimes complicated.
The St. Peters’ Community & Arts Center is hosting a Genealogy Basics 101 program on Tues., Sept. 16 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Cindy DuBois will take the class step-by-step in discovering their ancestral heritage. DuBois has been doing genealogy for over 28 years.
Participants will learn how to acquire genealogy information and how to research family history using the Internet.
The registration fee is $7 and that includes coffee, iced tea and dessert.
Tickets are available in advance at St. Peters City Hall or at the Community & Arts Center.
