Construction will slow St. Peters drivers

Beginning May 11, the intersection at Jungermann and McClay in St. Peters will go through a concrete slab replacement. During the month-long project, drivers can expect lane closures and slow-downs through the construction area.
- Work will start on the eastbound through-lanes of McClay Road on both sides of the intersection.
- Next the work will move to McClay’s eastbound and westbound turn lanes.
- The project will conclude with work on southbound Jungermann Road.
During the first part of the project, the westbound left turn lane from McClay to Jungermann will be closed, and traffic will detour using Harvester Road to Queensbrooke Drive.
Drivers are encouraged to stay alert and be prepared to obey traffic signs. Construction is expected to conclude around June 8.
