Center Stage Productions presents LOOT
April 18, 2009
St. Charles County
LOOT, a dark farce by Joe Orton, has been described as “Oscar Wilde meets Monty Python.”
Characters act upright and God-fearing, while secretly they are greedy, lust-filled and blasphemous.
The show may be comical, but be warned: audiences have sometimes been outraged, a consequence Orton intended.
The show, directed by David Marshall, runs at 8 p.m. on April 22-25 and 2 p.m. on April 26 at the Center Stage Theatre at St. Charles Community College in Cottleville.
General admission is $7. Admission for senior citizens and college students is $5. SCC students with an ID are admitted free. To reserve tickets call the box office at 636-922-8050.
Children under 10 will not be admitted to any Center Stage Theatre show unless it is indicated “suitable for all ages.”
