St. Charles man killed in St. Louis County accident

Donald J. Greeney, of St. Charles died at the scene of a motor vehicle accident Friday morning. Greeney, 25, was the only person involved in this single-car accident.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol: at about 1:38 a.m., Greeney was driving a 1999 Chrysler LHS Southbound I-170 at I-70 when the vehicle ran off the left side of the road, struck bridge piling head-on and caught fire.
Greeney was pronounced dead at 2:30 a.m. by the St. Louis County Medical Examiner. Greeney’s next of kin have been notified.
