Visitors to St. Charles’ Christmas Traditions Festival are sure to feel they’ve stepped into a holiday greeting card. Added to the festivities this year will be a temporary 120 x 50-foot outdoor ice rink in Frontier Park at the St. Charles riverfront.

The attraction will be available from Nov. 27 through Jan. 4. Admission is $6 for adults and $5 for children under 12. Each skate session will last about two hours. Concessions will be found in the Katy Depot.

“With 20 colorful characters and Santas from around the world, parades, train displays, carolers, 10,000 feet of fresh greenery and 1,200 hand-tied red velvet bows, thousands of sparkling white lights, and a new outdoor ice rink—St. Charles will undoubtedly be the premier family-friendly holiday destination this December,” said Mayor Patti York.
