Operation A.R.R.E.S.T. results announced

The Missouri Highway Patrol announced the results of their recent enforcement detail called “Operation A.R.R.E.S.T. (Alcohol-Related Response Enforcement Strike Team) in St. Charles County.
The eight-hour operation was held from 7:00 p.m., Fri. May 30 to 3:00 a.m., Sat. May 31. During the project, 36 arrests were made and 61 warnings were issued.
Included in the arrests were: eight subjects for driving while intoxicated, three drug violations and one for a felony warrant. Additional issued summonses included: 10 moving violations, six seat belt violations and eight non-moving violations.
Six officers conducted the operation. They focused their efforts on identifying hazardous motor vehicle operations and impaired driving conditions.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol’s website, the purpose of Operation A.R.R.E.S.T. was to increase the public’s awareness of the potential hazards of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.
