Man charged with possession of stolen explosives

On Friday morning, authorities conducted a raid at the home of Ryan Webster, 22, of the 100 block of Margaux Court in St. Charles. Webster was charged with possession of stolen explosives.
This has been connected to the June 2007 theft of explosives from the St. Charles County Training Center in Weldon Spring. More than 50 pounds of explosives, C-4 blocks, dynamite, cast boosters, detonating cord and safety fuses were stolen as well as a laptop computer and video camera.
An acquaintance of Webster, told authorities he had seen explosives in Webster’s home. It is not clear what has been recovered.
Webster was taken into custody and is set to appear on Monday. Investigation continues and more arrests may be made.
