Just in time for the May 8 20th anniversary of Katy Trail State Park, Missourians can now get official 20th anniversary Katy Trail apparel—and other Katy Trail and Missouri State Parks—branded items—at the park’s new online store located at http://katytrailstore.mostateparks.com

The Katy Trail online apparel store has nearly 100 products featuring the Katy Trail 20th anniversary logo, the official Katy Trail State Parks logo and different variations on Missouri State Parks themes. Products range from sweatshirts to stainless steel travel mugs and from t-shirts to tank tops, with all profits going to help support Missouri’s 85 state parks and historic sites.

“This is a great opportunity for the people who love and use our state parks to tell the world about them,” said Bill Bryan, director of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources’ Division of State Parks. “We’ve selected and designed products that are functional, useful and fashionable.”

The Katy Trail store is the first of several planned Division of State Parks online apparel stores for state parks that take advantage of print-on-demand technology to give consumers wider product choices than traditional stores while not requiring the seller to stock inventory.

“The 20th anniversary of the Katy Trail on May 8th gave us a perfect opportunity to open our first print-on-demand—based apparel store,” Bryan said. “Customers can take their enthusiasm for our state parks and customize the way they display it. And they can know that every dollar of profits will go to support Missouri’s state parks.”
