Driver ejected in accident ; other vehicle overturns

Friday night at about 8:00 p.m, Wayne F. Allemann, 23, of Warrenton was driving a 1998 Mazda B2500 westbound on Highway 40, near Missouri Research Parkway when he lost control of the vehicle, traveled off the right side of the road and struck a guardrail, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Allemann then traveled back onto the roadway, struck a 2003 Mitsubishi Monterro driven by Valarie A. Viele, 24, of Chesterfield. The Monterro overturned and came to rest in the roadway.

Allemann was ejected from the vehicle during the accident, suffered moderate injuries and was taken to St. John’s in Creve Coeur by St. Charles County Ambulance. Allemann was not wearing a seat belt.

Viele sustained minor injuries and was taken to St. John’s in Creve Coeur by Monarch Ambulance.

Viele was wearing a seat belt.
