from the St. Charles County Government
August 1, 2009
St. Charles County, MO
St. Charles County Recorder of Deeds, Barbara J. Hall, is pleased to announce a new service provided by her office. Hall has contracted with Fidlar Technologies to provide a subscription service called “Property Fraud Alert” free to the public. Property Fraud Alert is an online subscription service that will allow individuals to have their name monitored within the Recorder’s office in order to track possible fraudulent activity. Subscribers will be notified only when the name they have submitted is indexed from documents recorded within the County Recorder’s Office.
Protecting consumers’ information and real estate property are our top priorities and require more education and vigilance than at any time in the past. Fraud and identity theft are commonplace problems in today’s world. While Property Fraud Alert does not prevent fraud from happening, it will provide an early warning system that will allow our valued citizens to take appropriate actions should they deem possible fraudulent activity has occurred.
We are committed to bringing the best services possible to our constituents and are excited about the value this service offers. To subscribe, please go to the website at www.propertyfraudalert.com/stcharlesmo or call 1-800-728-3858 for more information. Your security does matter!
