County budget focus of public hearing

The proposed 2010 St. Charles County general fund budget is the topic for tonight’s public hearing at 7 p.m. in the County Council Chambers of the Executive Building located at 100 North Third Street in St. Charles.
Proposed budget amounts:
$57,729,590 – Projected Revenues
10,459,951 – Estimated Fund Balance as of Jan. 1, 2010
$68,189,541 – Total
$62,357,825 – Less Projected Expenditures
$ 5,831,716 – Projected Fund Balance for Dec. 31, 2010
The County Council’s work session regarding the budget will be at 5 p.m. and the public hearing will be held before the regularly-scheduled meeting.
