Clydesdales march through St. Charles
July 18, 2009
St. Charles, MO
The Anheuser-Busch Clydesdales visited the Main Street area in St. Charles Friday evening to the delight of shop owners and passersby.
From about 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., two handlers drove the team of six horses as they pulled a wagon brimming with cases of Budweiser beer.
The Budweiser jingle played while Bud, the Dalmatian, sat proudly alongside the drivers, completing the scene. The group made frequent stops so folks could get up close to the world-famous horses.
Two officers from the Mounted Unit of the St. Charles Police Department cleared the parade route and made sure the event went off without a hitch.
