Car overturns; driver taken to hospital

At about 5:50 a.m. Thursday, Scott O. Johnson, 44, from Warrenton, was heading eastbound on Highway 40, west of Research Park Drive in a 2003 Chevrolet Pickup.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol: Johnson failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. The vehicle ran off the right side of the road, struck and embankment and overturned.
Johnson received minor injuries and was taken by St. Charles County Ambulance to St. John’s Mercy in Creve Coeur.
The vehicle was totaled and towed to Crash City Towing.
