Winfield teen falls asleep at wheel

On Monday, October 18, at about 12:01 a.m., a 17-year-old female from Winfield was driving on Highway 94 at Church Road in St. Charles County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the teen fell asleep, traveled off the roadway and overturned.
She suffered minor injuries and was taken to St. Joseph Hospital East by St. Charles County Ambulance. She was wearing a seat belt during the accident.
