Two head-on collisions in three-vehicle accident

On Friday, May 1 at about 4:50 p.m., Katherine W. Laramie, 50, of Foristell, was heading eastbound in a 2003 BMW Mini Cooper on Highway 94 at Blase Station Road.
Michael T. Tremmel, 55, of St. Charles, was traveling behind Laramie in a 2004 GMC Yukon.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Laramie stopped to make a turn. Tremmel also stopped.
The accident occurred as Laramie failed to yield to a westbound 1999 Nissan Altima, being driven by John R. Hrem, 34, of St. Charles. The two vehicles collided head-on.
The Mini Cooper driven by Laramie spun counter-clockwise before also striking the Yukon head-on.
Laramie suffered moderate injuries and was taken to St. Joseph East Hospital by St. Charles County Ambulance.
Hrem suffered minor injuries and was also taken to St. Joseph East Hospital by St. Charles County Ambulance.
