Tanker truck and MoDOT truck collide

A tanker truck full of gasoline collided with a MoDOT truck today around 11 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Interstate 70 just west of Highway 94.

Traffic in the westbound lanes was shut down for a time and eastbound lanes were slowed considerably.

Gasoline may have leaked into a nearby ditch. A substance was visible on the water surface and work was being done to contain it.

Injuries are not known at this time.
