Scooter accident sends man to hospital

On Friday, August 13 at about 12:35 a.m. Scott R. Lampert, 29, of O’Fallon, was driving a 2008 Taizhou Chuanl scooter eastbound on Highway 94, just east of Route D.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the scooter traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned. Lampert suffered moderate injuries and was taken to St. Joseph West Hospital by St. Charles County Ambulance.
Lampert was charged with DWI at approximately 12:50 a.m.
