School bus accident on Highway D

A School bus accident occurred around 8 a.m. Thursday morning at Highway D and Timberwolf Lane, one mile west of the shooting range at Busch Wildlife Area.
Initial reports indicate that there are five patients and units are calling for backboards and “C” collars.
As of 8:40 a.m., reports indicate five people transported to hospitals via three ambulances. Injuries seem minor.
The accident occurred when the First Student bus drove off the roadway. Cause still unknown.
