Route D accident seriously injures woman

On Friday, July 9 at about 5:30 p.m., Tracy L. Barnes, 27, from Wentzville, was driving a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am eastbound on Missouri Route D, just west of Route 94.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol: an accident occurred when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.
Barnes suffered serious injuries and was taken to St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur by St. Charles County Ambulance.
Barnes was not wearing a seatbelt during the accident.
