Motorcycle accident seriously injures two

On Monday, Sept. 28 at about 1:10 p.m., Kenneth L. Koches, 59, from Taylorville, IL, was driving a 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle eastbound on Highway 94, about seven miles east of Montelle Drive.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Koches failed to negotiate a curve in the road, traveled off the left side of the roadway and the motorcycle overturned, which ejected the driver and passenger.
Koches suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur by ARCH helicopter. A passenger on the motorcycle, Lila K. Koches, 58, of Taylorville, IL, also suffered serious injuries and was taken to St. John’s in Washington by St. Charles County Ambulance.
