Motorcycle accident claims life

On Sunday, June 7 at about 10:50 a.m., Michael A. Krieger, 59, of Valley Park, MO, was driving a 2009 Harley Davidson eastbound on Highway 94, just east of Montelle Drive.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, an occupant on the motorcycle, Penelope J. Roffmann, 59, of St. Louis, suffered fatal injuries when Krieger failed to negotiate a curve in the road, traveled off the right side of the roadway and stuck a guardrail.
Krieger suffered moderate injuries and was taken to St. John’s Hospital in Washington by St. Charles County Ambulance.
