Driver strikes road sign, culvert and parked car on Route T

On Tuesday, May 12 at about 7:30 a.m., Martha L. Garrett, 57, of Lake Sherwood, was heading northbound on Route T, south of Route D in a 2001 Ford Explorer.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Garrett failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway then traveled off the right side of the road, struck a road sign, a culvert and a parked 1999 Ford Explorer.
Garrett suffered moderate injuries and was taken to St. Joseph West Hospital in Lake Saint Louis by St. Charles County Ambulance.
She was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
