Driver runs red light; two injured

On Wednesday, July 22 at about 3:00 p.m., Larry L. Martin, 67, of Collinsville, IL, was heading eastbound in a 1994 Chevrolet Silverado on Highway 67 at Highway 94.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Martin ran a red light and struck the passenger side of a southbound 2001 Buick LeSabre, driven by Susan K. Haynes, 64, of Florissant, MO.
Haynes and her 87-year-old passenger, Imogene M. Fossey, of Bethany, OK, both sustained moderate injuries and were taken to St. John’s Hospital by Christian Northeast Ambulance.
