Car overturns on Route P, driver charged with DWI

On July 9 at about 8:15 p.m., David C. Anderson, 33, of O’Fallon, was driving a 2001 Chrysler Town and County westbound on Route P west of Josephville Road.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Anderson was traveling too fast to negotiate a curve and slid off the north edge of the road, overturned and struck an embankment.
Anderson was taken to St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles. He was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
Anderson was charged with DWI.
