Car flips on Highway T

On Jan. 6, at about 5:30 a.m., Nathaniel I. Dewert, 27, of Union, MO, was driving northbound on Route T, just south of Route D, in a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol: To avoid a vehicle ahead, Dewert applied the brakes, and then slid off the left side of the road, striking a dirt embankment and overturning.
Dewert suffered minor injuries and was taken to St. John’s in Washington by St. Charles County Ambulance. He was wearing a seatbelt.
