Accident takes life of Wentzville man

Brandon C. Harke, 23, of Wentzville lost his life as the result of a motor vehicle accident on Feb. 15, 2011.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol:
Harke was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt westbound on Highway D, two miles west of Highway 94 at approximately 9:05 p.m. Tuesday.
The vehicle entered the eastbound lanes of traffic and Harke lost control of the car. The vehicle then travelled off the north side of the roadway and struck several trees before overturning.
Harke was pronounced at the scene by St. Charles County Ambulance personnel.
